VDHC serves as the primary real estate arm of BIHG, acting as the strategic hub through which all real estate asset management, development, and investment activities of the group are integrated. The company was established with the aim of unifying the real estate vision and maximizing the value of the property portfolio, in alignment with economic transformations and to enhance long-term financial sustainability.
The company is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of real estate assets, starting from strategic planning and highest-and-best-use studies, through concept and design development, and extending to execution, operation, or divestment, in accordance with best practices in asset management. It also strives to balance return maximization with risk mitigation by adopting rigorous methodologies in valuation, portfolio management, and data-driven investment decision-making.
VDHC plays a pivotal role in restructuring and activating the Group’s real estate assets by managing sales and divestment programs, coordinating efforts with brokers and developers, and steering assets toward their most appropriate uses in line with the group’s direction and market demands. The company also focuses on organizing and managing existing real estate assets, addressing associated challenges—including regulatory and technical aspects—and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure asset readiness and to make informed decisions regarding their development, sale, or restructuring.
As the central leadership hub for the group’s real estate sector, the company is committed to implementing strong governance and transparency standards, leveraging specialized expertise, and utilizing analytical tools to support well-informed decision-making and enhance asset management efficiency.
